Privacy policy

Plain English, like everything else. Last updated October 2026.

To confirm: Legal entity name, any ICO registration number, how long enquiries are kept, and the names of the services below. The current site says details are shared with “our web designer (daisy bee design ltd) and our web developer (Philp and Co)”: confirm whether that still applies.

Who we are

Fraser Web Design, East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, is responsible for (the “controller” of) the personal information you give us through this website. You can contact us about your data at info@fraserwebdesign.co.uk or on 07919 577 658.

What we collect, and why

  • Quote requests. Your name, email, phone number (if you give it), business name, current website and what you tell us about your project. We use these only to reply about your quote, with your consent.
  • Emails, calls and WhatsApp messages. We use what you send us to answer you, provide a quote or send an invoice.
  • Clients. If you become a client, we keep the contact and billing details needed to build, host and support your website (to perform our contract with you, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations).
  • Website statistics. Only if you allow statistics cookies. See the cookie policy.

We never sell your information or pass it to marketing companies.

Who else handles it

A small number of trusted services help us run this website, each acting only on our instructions:

  • our website hosting and database providers, which store quote requests;
  • an email delivery service, which forwards quote requests to our inbox;
  • a spam-protection check on the quote form, which confirms a real person is sending it.

Where any of these are outside the UK, they're covered by UK-approved safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires for accounting purposes.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Just email info@fraserwebdesign.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
