W & J Riding's website was a labour of love: 14 years of photographs and history of a Lancashire haulage firm, built by Paul Anderson, a friend of the late Tom Riding. When a takeover by Vistaprint meant the old site was about to close (the new owners couldn't handle the amount of data on it), the family needed someone to move everything across without losing a thing.

A careful move
Every page, photograph and story was brought across from the closing platform to a new home.
Built to be browsed
The history is organised the way enthusiasts explore it: the early days, the Longridge depot and garage, the vehicles by make and model, film, and photographers' credits.
A dedication kept
The site is dedicated to Thomas William Riding, managing director and chief executive for 25 years, who supplied much of its history and rare photographs.
Fraser Web Design stepped in and took over a long established & cherished 14 year old family haulage website – a ‘labour of love’ by Paul Anderson, a dear friend of my late father Tom Riding.
